The Sun Gallery

It was Christmas day, 1999. I was driving along the coast of the Monterey Bay, when I glanced up at the sky. The softest, most intangible colors were appearing and changing in the misty clouds around the sun. I stopped the car and watched this amazing light show for over an hour. I was so inspired by this "iridescence", I decided I just had to return to painting in oil on canvas to try to capture the colors that were moving in my soul. "Souls Sailing to Future Earth"was the first in this series.
